Justa van Heertum takes home nine awards for her black and white portrait collection

I am thrilled to share with you all that I have won an incredible nine awards in the black and white portrait category at The Portrait Masters Awards! It is such an honor to have my work recognized by the competition, which celebrates excellence in portrait photography from around the world.

I entered 10 portraits from my "Free Spirits" collection, which showcases the beauty and individuality of my subjects through captivating black and white portraits. All nine awards scored a Bronze award.

To explain: Bronze images awarded demonstrate a professional standard of work. Bronze images awarded with a high professional standard of technique and communication and are called ‘Bronze with Distinction'. I am proud to say that I also won an award with distinction: Dvita, also know as lady magpie.

Photography is my passion, and to be recognized by The Portrait Masters for my work is truly humbling. I am grateful for the opportunity to share my vision and creativity with others through my portraits.

The competition featured thousands of entries from photographers around the world, making my wins all the more impressive. The Portrait Masters Awards recognizes photographers who have demonstrated exceptional skill and artistry in their portrait photography.

My winning portraits will soon be available for everyone to enjoy on my website. At the moment, I can confirm that not only the latest addition to the collection, Dvita, has won an award, but also Charlize, Olive, and Nova.
